For the past twenty three years Zsa Zsa Padilla was with Dolphy. She may not be Dolphy's first but she's the last. She's with Dolphy when Dolphy breathed his last at 8:34 p.m. July 10, 2012.
Dolphy's long-time partner Zsa Zsa Padilla talked about the comedian's battle with COPD for the last six or eight years and how his ordeal brought their whole family together.
"Kahit pala ang mga anak ni Dolphy ay nanggaling sa iba ibang Nanay ay pwede naman pala mag kaisa."- Zsa Zsa Padilla.
Zsa Zsa Padilla thanked those who were there for Dolphy while he was still battling his illness. She also recalled how Dolphy was as a partner.
"Come to me all of you who are weary and I will give you rest." Dolphy's wish to go home was granted.

I was crying when I was watching this video. Partly because Zsa Zsa Padilla's A capella's rendition of "Through the years" is very touching and also because like you and millions of others I will be missing Mang Dolphy's brand of comedy both on TV and the movies.
Dolphy comes a long way from being a butong pakwan and peanut vendor to becoming Philippines King of Comedy. I hope the government will give him the National Artist Award. This is a personal opinion, I believe his endorsement to FPJ cost him the National Artist Award during President Gloria Macapagal- Arroyo's term. Napulitika. It would have been nice if he got this recognition when he was still alive. Ika nga aanhin pa ang damo if patay na ang kabayo. On second thought, I think his children and partner Zsa Zsa Padilla will appreciate it still. So go lang ng go ibigay na ang nararapat kay Mang Dolphy.
When Dolphy would mouth his wish to go home as he remained confined in the intensive care unit, Eric Quizon said his family knew the wish would be granted three-fold. "My dad kept on saying, 'Uwi na ako.' That was the phrase he kept on saying sa aming lahat, 'uwi na ako.' His wish was granted.
"Today, we brought him home to Marina (their private residence), and then we brought him here to his family, his Kapamilya, and now he's home with his Creator," he said.
This statement made by Eric made me cry, that is exactly what my mom uttered just before she had a heart attack. "Uwi na ako". I couldn't stop myself from crying while making this post.
Alam ko dapat tumigil na ako sa pag-iyak dahil ang Diyos natin na nasa Langit na ang nangangalaga ngayon kay Mang Dolphy at sa Tatay at Nanay ko.
