EASY SOLUTION TO MAKE THE MISSING WIDGETS APPEAR

As bloggers, we do blog walking once in a while. Sometimes we even exchange G+, FB Likes, Tweets etc. but some of the blogs that we visited have templates that don't show the G+, FB like, twitter widgets. Worry no more! There's a very easy solution on how to make them appear.

If the blog has heavy images, or does not show the widgets you can simply do this:

  • Press Control  -  ( Ctrl -) to make the blog smaller
What I do if the blog has heavy images and doesn't load fast: I keep on pressing ctfl - until everything appears, I then press
  • Press Control +  ( Ctrl+) to make the blog bigger
When you zoom out the blog post the widgets load more easily.  No need for you to refresh the page over and over again.

After the widget appears you can now zoom in the blog post so you can click on the widget.

Try this! Happy Blogging! I hope I was able to help.

HOW TO CHECK WHO G+ YOU

As bloggers we need to check who G+ us from time to time so we could reciprocate right?

To toggle between profile views:

  1. Sign in to Google+.
  2. Click the Profile icon at the top of the page.
  3. In the View profile as box on your profile, enter the name of the person whose view you'd like to check.
  4. Review your profile information from the perspective of the person you've selected.
This may take so much of your time but sometimes you have to check also. If you don't like what you see, you can click Edit Profile. To switch back to your own view, simply click Done.

Yes, I know, you must be saying this is such a waste of your time and like you, I hope the people who just drop links and run during activities would learn how to be honest and learn how to reciprocate:-) but that is the dream. And we can never be stop to dream.

You yourself could also self-check on what was posted on your own Google Plus Profile. Here is how you could check your collection of internet treasures:

Every time you click +1, it shows on your public google + profile. You'll find your full list of +1's in a special tab on your public Google profile. You can choose to show your +1's tab to the world.  It is the place to go if you want to personally manage the ever-expanding record of things you love around the web.
To manage the links displayed on your profile:
  1. Sign in to your Google profile.
  2. Click Edit Profile.
  3. Click the About tab.
  4. Click the link section you want to edit.
    • To display a link that Google suggests, click Add beside the link.
    • To add a link of your own, click Add custom link, then provide a label for the link and its URL.
  5. Choose the visibility setting you'd like to apply to the section you're editing.
  6. Click Save.

When you add links to your profile, you can choose to place them into three different sections.
  • Other profiles: Place links here to webpages that are specifically about you. For example, a link to your personal webpage and links to your profile on other social networks are good to include in this section.
  • Contributor to: Add links here where people can find your work online. For instance, links to sites you've written for should be included in this section.
  • Recommended links: Use this section to display links that you think visitors to your profile would like to check out. Imagine if Natalia was an economist, she may choose to add links to her favorite economic think tanks and blogs.
I hope this post have help some people who were asking me, on how they could check who g+ their posts.

Please add me to your circle my g+ profile is travelona Shoestring. Kindly send me a private message so I can add you too!
