Dinosaur at the Mind Museum
Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!! Run for your life.....Here comes Stan, the life-sized skeleton cast of one of the largest and ferocious dinosaurs, the Tyrannosaurus rex (or simply T. rex), inside the Mind Museum! Ha ha ha ha!
Stan stands at twenty feet. The T. rex rises nearly to its full height to grapple the more fortunate hunter and dispute the prey.
It is named after the amateur fossil hunter Stan Sacrison who discovered the original fossils of the T. rex in South Dakota in 1987.
The original fossils are found inside the museum of Black Hills Institute (BHI) of Geological Research, Inc. in South Dakota along with 'Duffy,' which is another set of T. Rex fossils discovered by Sacrison in 1993.
And just in case you want to order a similar life-sized cast or replica of Stan, you can have it at only US$100,000.00 (!) from Black Hills Institute (BHI) of Geological Research, Inc. in South Dakota, U.S.A. Similar replicas of Stan are found in Manchester Museum in UK, Dinosphere at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis, New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science in Old Town Albuquerque, New Mexico, and many others.
