The First Marching FILIPINO HUMAN FLAG in New York City.
At
least 450 people march in Madison Avenue, New York City at PIDCI's
Philippine Independence Day Parade to form the first marching Philippine
human flag and raise funds for 6,000 families affected by typhoon
Sendong, the worst calamity that hit the Philippines in 2011.
The event was organized
by Gawad Kalinga-USA. The human flag march aims to break the record of
the biggest marching human flag in the next three years.
