VIDEO: My Story, Struggling, Bullying, Suicide and Self harm
VIDEO: My Story, Struggling, Bullying, Suicide and Self harm
“No one deserves to be bullied. No one earns it. No one asks for it. It is not a rite of passage."
“Bullying has to stop.”
I feel there is a need to expose Cyberbullies! It is really sad to know, that some people can be so mean.
I hope God touches your heart so you bullies will stop saying bad things about other people. And for the witness out there please don't be a silent witness. Emphatize with the one being talked about. If you know that there was no truth to what they were saying make a stand and defend the person being talked about.
Around supper time last Wednesday, October 10, 2012, Amanda took her own life. The picture below is Amanda Todd, 15 year-old.
Last Wednesday night this beautiful girl committed suicide. I don’t know her. It is very sad to know that her cry for help was not address when she was still alive. After her cry for help when she posted her video on you tube last September 7, 2012 she still got bullied. Some bullies are really sick, and it’s very wrong. No matter how much you tell people to stop bullying, the majority of them won’t...until it’s too late .
To support Amanda, lots of people are going to be wearing hot pink on October 15, 2012.
R.I.P. Amanda you’re in a better place now. I hope a full investigation will be launch to look into the circumstances that led to this ridiculous bullying.
Here is her story from Vancouver Sun:
A teenager posted a heartbreaking video on YouTube chronicling years of bullying in school and online, cutting and humiliation up until she died this week.
Amanda Todd, 15, posted the video called "My story: Struggling, bullying, suicide, self harm" on Sept. 7 and was found dead in her home town of Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, just this week.
Amanda was the victim of unrelenting blackmail. And the cyberspace stalker was aided by people in Amanda’s real-world life — kids who would share the photos on their cellphones, kids who would gang up to hurl first verbal abuse and then fists at her.
"Everything she said in the video happened over the past two years," said Carol (Amanda's Mother). "It was horrendous. I think about it now and I think, Oh my God. How did she survive this long with the pain?"
The end, when it came, was a shock. Despite Amanda's earlier suicide attempts, Carol said in recent days and weeks she was getting much better. She spent time in hospital in September, getting treatment and counselling. Her life was starting to return to normal, which it hadn't been since grade 8. "She felt like a normal teenager, she was so proud of herself," said Carol. "She went out with friends, she went to the mall, she said to me, Mom, this is the first time that I feel normal again. I have had the best day ever."
Carol doesn't know what caused her daughter’s setback, but Amanda may have given Carol an answer in a private video. "She left me a video message on her phone. I'm not ready to look at it yet," said Carol. "The coroner has told me it will provide closure for me but I can’t look at it yet."
Carol doesn't know what happened, but sometime earlier this week — before Amanda killed herself late Wednesday afternoon — something happened to shatter that fragile recovery.

I'm struggling to stay in this world, because everything just touches me so deeply. I'm not doing this for attention. I'm doing this to be an inspiration and to show that I can be strong. I did things to myself to make pain go away, because I'd rather hurt myself then someone else. Haters are haters but please don't hate, although im sure I'll get them. I hope I can show you guys that everyone has a story, and everyones future will be bright one day, you just gotta pull through. I'm still here aren't I ?

To all bullies out there, rumormongers, sawsawero, sawsawera, If you want change then be the change that you want.
Don't bully other people.
Don't jump into conclusion.
Don't blog other people as a blind item. Especially if you have not verified your facts! If you have a problem with them tell them directly and resolve the problem. Spreading false rumors won't solve the problem. Plus you are violating one of the ten commandments of GOD- Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
Be good. Spread happiness not sadness.

DARK NIGHT COMIC CREATOR'S GF SUED BY DINDI GALLARDO
DARK NIGHT COMIC CREATOR'S GF SUED BY DINDI GALLARDO
This is dark — even for The Dark Knight. A woman who worked for legendary comic-book writer Frank Miller says she was put through hell by the "Batman" scribe's gal pal.
That’s the subhead of a news item that came out in New York Post. The woman being referred to in the story is Dindi Gallardo filed a case against the Dark Knight creator and his girlfriend “for hostile work environment.”
Here is the full story as posted by the New York Post:
In a Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit, Joanna Gallardo-Mills, 41, says Miller's the "Sin City" creator's girlfriend, Kimberly Cox, smeared her work area with feces, destroyed her printer with a hammer, threw phones at her, and even left a used feminine hygiene pad by her desk. "Nobody should have to work under those conditions," said her lawyer, high-powered employment attorney Matthew Blit.
Gallardo-Mills claims she was canned for complaining about how Cox was treating her. The suit says Gallardo-Mills went to work for Miller — whose 1986 Batman comic series "The Dark Knight Returns" is considered revolutionary — as an executive coordinator in November 2008.
The Philippines native said it wasn't long before there were problems with Cox, Miller's much-younger actress girlfriend. Cox soon made it clear she had issues with Gallardo-Mills, yelling things like, "I can't understand your funky accent. Speak f--king English," the suit says.
The suit notes Gallardo-Mills "has lived in the United States for over 20 years, is fully fluent in English, and only spoke English in her professional capacity" with Miller. Cox yesterday said she was 'shocked' by the suit. "We didn't know this was going forward because she was offered a very heavy settlement and declined," she said.
Gallardo-Mills' work situation went in the toilet In July 2010, when Cox allegedly threw a phone and chair at Gallardo-Mills — and "smeared human feces" on a countertop in her work area in the Hell's Kitchen living/work space that Miller and Cox shared, the suit says.
A year later, Cox went on another rampage, the suit says, scattering all of Gallardo-Mills’ files across the floor and destroying her printer "with a hammer," the suit says. Then, Cox left her filthy underwear and "used menstrual pad" in her work space, the suit says.
After Gallardo-Mills complained, Miller eventually agreed to let her work out of her home to keep her away from Cox. She's seeking unspecified money damages from Miller and Cox for discrimination and "mental anguish."
A representative for Miller did not return a call for comment.
Here are some excerpts from the interview written by Cristina Pastor of The FilAm last May 2012 :
Q. Your boss didn’t know you were an actress?
A. I don’t talk about that. If they know you’re an actress chances are they’re not going to hire you because they’d think you just want to be in this industry. Double life talaga. Well, now he knows.
Q. Ten years in New York. What’s that like?
A. I love New York. I love my job. I can’t get into major details. My boss—he’s pretty big. I’m like his right-hand person. I work with his team of lawyers, agents, accountants. I’ve been with him 3.5 years.
Q. How did you land this current position with this artist?
A. I quit Buchwald to get another job with a bigger production company. But it didn’t happen. I was really upset. Then boom, this job fell on my lap. I didn’t even know who (my future boss) was. We clicked so well. I got promoted two times. We’re about to film a big, big film with a full cast.
Q. Have you experienced being racially discriminated in New York?
A. Oh yes. In one of the companies I worked for, my boss wanted me to work on Thanksgiving and this person said, why should you get a holiday? You don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in the Philippines.

Best Outdoor Destinations for Honeymooners
Best Outdoor Destinations for Honeymooners
Your
big day is just around the corner and now it is time to plan your
honeymoon, but the two of you are not your average couple. The two of
you consider traveling around the globe,
camping and backpacking much more romantic than spending thousands to
stay in a "luxury resort." For outdoor folks like yourself, here are
some great outdoor honeymoon destinations.
Las Vegas
We
know what you are thinking. Las Vegas does not seem like a destination
for outdoor people. While it is true that Vegas is known more for
poker games and blackjack than outdoor activities, the city is located
close to numerous outdoor options.
The
Grand Canyon is just a short trip from Las Vegas and as one of the
natural wonders of the world offer a great opportunity for outdoor
enthusiasts. Just 35 miles from Vegas is Mt. Charleston, a natural
habitat nestled right on the outskirts of the Vegas desert. Hiking,

up.
