Jessica Sanchez is the new World Idol
Phillip Phillips may have won the title " American Idol" but for a lot of people Jessica Sanchez is the new World Idol! #IdolFinale
In terms of technical ability, Jessica can wipe the floor with Phillip Philips. But the true winner is AT &T and the producer of the show :-D.
The American Idol Finale was held at Nokia Theater in downtown Los Angeles in front of 7,000 screaming fans. It was telecast live to the East Coast and the Midwest viewed by millions of people all over the world. They equipped the event with a jumbo projection screens plastered on either side of the stage. The crowd assembled at the theater are mostly excited parents and their very small children. There were few posters, far fewer than in past finales, and there weren’t any crazy tributes to any one contestant. Unlike last year where there were huge, blow-up balloons spelling S-C-O-T-T-Y in the audience. This year, there's no such extravagance.
Cory appeared to the tune of LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem,” which got the crowd moving. He yelled at the crowd: “If you’re ready to party, say yeah! Cory dragged various members of the crowd up to the center stage. It was a dream come true for the fans because they were able to shake their booties and had a few minutes of fame.

Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg ties the knot
PALO ALTO, California — Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg updated his status to "married" on Saturday. Zuckerberg and 27-year-old Priscilla Chan tied the knot at a small ceremony at his Palo Alto, Calif., home, capping a busy week for the couple.
Zuckerberg took his company public in one of the most anticipated stock offerings in Wall Street history Friday. And Chan graduated from medical school at the University of California, San Francisco, on Monday, the same day Zuckerberg turned 28.
The couple met at Harvard and have been together for more than nine years. A source authorized by the couple to speak said Zuckerberg designed the ring featuring "a very simple ruby." The ceremony took place in Zuckerberg's backyard before fewer than 100 guests, who all thought they were there to celebrate Chan's graduation.
Even after the IPO, Zuckerberg remains Facebook's single largest shareholder, with 503.6 million shares. And he controls the company with 56 percent of its voting stock.
The site, which was born in a dorm room eight years ago, has grown into a worldwide network of almost a billion people. Zuckerberg founded Facebook at Harvard in 2004. He was named as Time's Person of the Year in 2010, at age 26. Zuckerberg grew up in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.

CCTV Video of Filipina Rape Victim with the Panamanian Diplomat
A closed-circuit television Video of the Panamanian diplomat accused of raping a 19-year-old Filipina, and the alleged Filipina Rape Victim's CCTV video is making the rounds on the internet.
The CCTV was allegedly taken inside the Panamanian Makati apartment. The Panamanian Diplomat has denied the allegations in a press statement. Erick Shcks, a technical officer of the Panama Maritime Authority, said he engaged in sexual intercourse with the complainant "Pamela" (not her real name) last April 23 but stressed that the act was consensual. Shcks dispelled allegations that he drugged the Pinay teen and forced her to have sex with him.
Shcks left the country last May 11, 2012 and was declared persona non grata by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA). Shcks’s departure drew the ire of Senators Loren Legarda and Vicente Sotto III, who believed that the Panamanian rape suspect should not have been allowed to go scot-free. The DOJ said that Schks may be tried for the alleged rape once the Panamanian government waives his diplomatic immunity.

When: May 26, 2012
Time: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Medium: Enamel Painting
Topic: "All Quiet On The Eastern Front"
"This show is a return to my black and white series of works that engage in conflict and battle. The images of these new enamel paintings are based from World War 2 photographs combined with my own day to day personal experiences". - Ernest Concepcion
BIO OF ERNEST CONCEPCION :
Ernest Concepcion was born in Manila, Philippines where he received his BFA then moved to the US in 2002. It was in the lonely town of Englewood, New Jersey where he began The Line Wars, a series of black and white drawings depicting opposing forces engaged in ridiculous battle based on the entertainments of childhood and adolescence. He moved to Brooklyn and participated in a number of art residencies including the LMCC Workspace Program, the Bronx Museum of Art Artists-in-the-Marketplace (AIM) program, the Artists Alliance Inc. Rotating Studio Program, the Lower East Side Printshop Keyholder Residency, the LMCC Swing Space Program at Governors Island and an artist residency in Beijing, China via NY Arts.
Through extensive studio time and experimentation, he eventually broke away from the formulaic style of the drawings and explored different approaches to conflict creating an entirely new series of works including painting, sculpture and installation. With a significant body of work, Concepcion was able to exhibit both here and abroad and has had four solo shows in the last two years. In 2011 he was both a New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) finalist in the Drawing Category and a Nominee for the Joan Mitchell Foundation Painters and Sculptors Grant. Currently, he is a full-time artist making new works and a graphic novel based on the conflict-ridden planet of Ona to be released soon.
