I am a beach lover. And I know you'll agree with me that swimming in Boracay's wonderful beach is awesome. But after you get tired from swimming and playing in Boracay's pristine white sand what else will you be doing? As for us, we went for a food trip. One fine Filipino Restaurant that we tried in Boracay is Titos Resto and Grill. From the beach front of Station One (1), the area where we were billeted, we walked towards Station Two (2) where almost all of the restaurants are located. You will never miss the sign of Titos Resto and Grill which happens to be located at Station Two, just above Pat's Creek Bar.

We were so happy to find a restaurant and grill in Boracay that serves modern Filipino food which combines the casual comfort of a home-cooked meal with the relaxed sophistication of fine dining. We were happily ushered upstairs by a Titos employee to the second and third floors of the establishment.

We particularly like the second floor where TITOS offers panoramic window seating with a breathtaking view of the beachfront and where guests can relax and take in the cool, fresh air. 

Comfortable weather-resistant banquette seating is also available for customers who are fresh from hanging out on the beach. Titos also offers air-conditioning for guests who want an oasis away from the heat outside.

TITOS also has a grill and lounge on the third floor where guests are offered a selection of fresh items which they can complement with over a dozen unique sauces to create the ideal meal. To celebrate the grand opening of Jamba Juice they set up an active camp for a day. Where kids and kids at heart played, bike, jump, climb walls to their heart's content.

Gianmatteo Fernan Guidicelli or better known as Matteo Guidicelli is a Filipino-Italian actor, model, racer and singer. He is an avid fan of Jamba Juice. He said that since he is a triathlete he usually drop by Jamba Juice after his training to get his Jamba fix. He serenaded the crowd and this very lucky Jamba Juice staff.

Guidelines for Museum Tours

1. All guests are required to sign in the visitor’s logbook before viewing the exhibits.

2. Group tours shall be booked before hand. Only groups reserved at the Museum Education Division shall be entertained. Group tours are not allowed on Sundays.

3. Drop off point for groups is outside the NM gate along P. Burgos Avenue and Finance Road. Bags, food, and hand-carried items should be left inside the bus.

4. Buses should park outside the Museum of the Filipino People.

5. Head of the group/coordinator shall first pay the entrance fees and fill up the visitor’s logbook before the group is allowed to begin the tour.

6. Firearms, food, bottled water, and ballpens are not allowed inside galleries.

7. Smoking is prohibited in the NM premises.

8. Touching artworks and taking photos of exhibit items for commercial purposes inside galleries are strictly prohibited unless otherwise authorized through a special permit from the Director’s Office/ Museum Education Division. Picture taking is allowed for souvenir purposes only. DSLR cameras need special permit. The use of flash photography is strictly prohibited.

9. For other concerns not specified herein, please inquire at the Museum Education Division.

Similar to the spring-summer collection, the 2012 fall-winter collection will focus on a family theme and include a line-up of apparel for women, men and children. It came as a shock not only to me but also to a lot of Bicolanos that Lawyer Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo, widow of the late Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jesse Robredo, earlier today, Friday, October 5, 2012, decided to run for a seat in Congress, according to television reports. 

Atty. Leni Robredo has decided to represent the third district of Camarines Sur under the Liberal Party (LP), the same party of her late husband, where she has recently been assigned as chief of the LP in Camarines Sur. 

Atty. Leni Robredo was accompanied by her youngest daughter, Jillian Robredo, who tagged along with her mom to the Comelec office.

Atty. Leni Robredo arrived at the Comelec office with a throng of supporters clad in yellow. Earlier, Naga City vice mayor Gabby Bordado, who was supposed to run as congressman in the third district of Camarines Sur, decided to endorse Robredo instead. Employees of the city hall trooped to her home to urge her to run in the midterm elections. 

She has been urged to compete with Nelly, the wife of Camarines Sur Representative Luis Villafuerte Sr. who will be running for governor after his third term as congressman. Another contender for the position of representative of the third district of Camarines Sur is former Solicitor General Anselmo Cadiz. 

There has been a lot of talk of the administration party asking Atty. Leni Robredo to run for the 2013 midterm elections but House of Representatives Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. said that the widow of the former DILG chief showed no interest in politics.

Shocked as we may be, we, Bicolanos, throw our support behind Atty. Leni Robredo.

Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero finally admitted that he is in a relationship with actress Heart Evangelista. In his last co-hosting stint for ABS-CBN's morning talk show "KrisTV" hosted by Kris Aquino on Friday, October 5, 2012. Escudero opened up about his new love. "I would like to think so, yes," Escudero told Aquino when asked if Evangelista is his girlfriend. KrisTV.

“Is Heart Evangelista your girlfriend?” asked Kris Aquino, the main host of the show.

“I’d like to think so, yes, ” Escudero said.


Actress Heart Evangelista confessed that Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero makes her happy. "Yes, he makes me laugh. All kinds of [laughter]. We are having fun," Evangelista said in an interview aired on the same program.

"Happy, happy birthday Senator Chiz, may God bless you more. Congrats on your show, you are doing very well and hello everybody at KrisTV," Evangelista said.

Asked to describe the senator, the actress replied, "Nakakatawa siya. He is a very funny person, pero pagdating sa serious matters, seryoso siya. Pero kapag walang nakatingin, normal siyang tao. [He is] very down to earth, cowboy [siya], ganyan."

Chiz Escudero bade goodbye to the KrisTV show and said he hopes that he could return next year. Aquino said that she expects the senator to return to her show on June 2013, after the mid-term elections. "Today is the birthday celebration and pansamantalang farewell episode kasi inaasahan ko after June 30 ay babalik ka," Aquino told Escudero, who replied: "Kung tatanggapin mo ako."
