It's a time of merriment! And to all of you out there who would like to party you could go to the Hillcest region of San Diego city. It boosts of various gay bars within the city. Hillcrest offers a wide range of restaurants, coffeehouses and many different gay nightclubs.
You would find a nice selection of gay bars, restaurants of all types, gay gyms like 24 hour fitness, and shopping galore. There are tons of gay friendly hotels in down town San Diego near the Gas Lamp District that has great restaurants, shopping and gay bars. San Diego offers a lot of beach options too.
The gay nightlife include Flicks, a video bar and Rich's, known as the largest dance club in the region.
Flicks
Flicks has been around since 1983 and features many high-definition flat screen televisions and plays different shows on a nightly basis. The daily specials at Flicks include Football & Karaoke Mondays and Sundays, showing football games when in season. On Tuesdays, Wii games are available for free play. Wednesdays are known as College Boys Night, featuring $2 well drinks from 9 p.m. until closing; $3-Way Thursdays feature $3 bottles of any beer from 9 p.m. until close and a pool tournament with a $5 buy-in. Rich bar is open from Wednesday through Sunday, from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m.Rich's hosts drag shows on various nights of the month, and features ladies night on Thursdays, and pop music on Fridays. The club is open to those 21 years of age and older.
