picks PICC for elections canvassing—The Philippine International Convention Center
(PICC), the country’s biggest and most elegant events venue, was again chosen
to be the site of the canvassing for the 2013 Philippine mid-term elections.
The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) chose the PICC as the venue of the
national canvassing of the National Board of Canvassers (NBOC) for 10 days
after the elections that chose the next batch of Senators and local government
