When: June 23, 2012 Saturday from 4pm onwards!
Where: Kalayaan corner Makati Avenue, Makati City
Fete De La Musique is a yearly musical event that showcases Filipino music at its finest. Philippines’ biggest and brightest musical acts of different genres will be invading Makati in the biggest music festival in the country this year. This is brought to us by the Embassy of France to the Philippines, the Alliance Francais de Manille, and B-Side Productions,
For the first time Fete De La Musique’s main stage will be located in Makati Avenue, where a street party will be held featuring acts such as Brigada, Cynthia Alexander, Pepe Smith, Johnny Alegre & Affinity, the French DJ collective Chinese Man, and many more. Besides the main stage, there will also be different pocket venues hosting different genres organized by different productions.

CHINESE MAN BIO
Chinese Man is composed of High Ku, SLY and Zé Mateo. They started in 2005 at the behest of their grand master, the renowned and mysterious Chinese Man, founder and inseparable figurehead of the Chinese Man Records Label. Their music, a blend of Hip-Hop, Dub, Afro-Beat, Baile Funk, traditional music and forgotten samples make them one of the most innovating DJ collectives in France. Their albums Groove Sessions Volume 1 & 2 paved the way to a sold-out tour in France and around Europe. Their live acts are a one-of-a-kind experience, especially with their latest opus “Racing with the Sun”, as they showcase a special audio-visual DJ/VJ performance featuring 8 people onstage. As an impressive and uniquely multi-faceted group, Chinese Man Records label brings together producers, DJ’s, graphic artists and filmmakers building and promoting a collective visual and musical identity. As tireless warriors of sound, Chinese Man will infuse a zen and groovy touch on the Fête de la Musique stage that will thrill Filipino audiences and artists alike. Chinese Man is on tour in Southeast Asia in May and June 2012. Filipino audiences have the chance to see them onstage in Manila with their latest live music and video show.
