ANGEL LOCSIN TWEETS REACTION TO ARNOLD CLAVIO

PMPC Star Awards For Movies Best Actress nominee Angel Locsin cried foul over Arnold Clavio's remark against the Philippine football team Azkals.  In her official Twitter account, Angel Locsin expressed her admiration of Arnold Clavio but stressed that the broadcast journalist's racist tirades against the team were really offensive.

"I think Arnold Clavio's a good person. But this time, sobrang foul lang. That's his opinion. This is mine. Madali lang sumira ng reputasyon, mahirap ibalik. Konting sensitivity lang sana,"- Angel Locsin tweeted.

 

These tweets are Angel Locsin's reaction to Arnold Clavio's opinion yesterday, Tuesday, March 13, 2012.  Arnold Clavio gave his opinion over his morning show about the sexual harassment case filed by Cristina Ramos, match commissioner and daughter of former president Fidel V. Ramos, against some members of the football team Azkals.

"Dapat maging aral na sa inyo 'yan. Ang yayabang niyo. Porket dinadagsa kayo ng mga (fans) ang guguwapo niyo, ‘di ba?. Parang God's gift to women. Ang kuwento nga ni (Cristy) at mga kasama niya, lahat ginawang paraan para ipaalam na may babaeng papasok sa locker. Ilang katok nga sila, eh malapit na ang match at kailangang ma-check na ang dalawang koponan, dahil nauna ang Philippine team bago ang Malaysian team. Ngayon nag-sorry para daw sa isa nilang kasamahan. Saan ka nakakitang Azkal na may suso. Anong ‘Cup D, maybe a Cup B’ sa isang kasama? Palusot na lang ‘yon. Sana kung nag-sorry, sorry na lang talaga," Clavio said.

Arnold Clavio added that Azkals are not not really Filipinos and just pretending to be the citizens of the country.

"Hindi ko kayo ka kultura kasi wala dito (sa puso), wala dito (sa pag-iisip) eh hindi naman kayo Filipino, nagpapanggap lang kayong kayumanggi, hindi dito lumaki. Mahirap 'yon, insensitive. Pero malaking aral din. Congratulations kasi hiwalay naman ito sa kanilang ginagawang pakikipaglaban. So, good luck sa inyong susunod na laban para makarating kayo sa Final 4 na bihirang narating ng Pilipinas sa matagal na panahon, ngayon lang," Clavio said.

Arnold Clavio also reacted on Younghusband's statement that their team knows the truth and they are "solid" as a group.

"Alam naman nila' yung mga ‘sexcapades’ nila sa isa't isa, sino ang nag-penicillin, alam naman nila 'yan," Clavio added.

Azkals' striker Phil Younghusband rumored girlfriend Angel Locsin said it's really unfair to judge the whole team, particularly questions about their nationality. 

"Hindi naman po isang tao lang ang Azkals. At hindi naman po 'yung issue 'yung pagiging Pinoy nila. Unfair po 'yun," Locsin said through Twitter.

She added: 

"Wala po tayong karapatang manghusga agad at manapak ng tao. Kung ayaw rin po nating mangyari satin."

 

"It's so funny how some people are so quick to condemn ALL the players. Pag guilty parusahan. Pero let's not discriminate kung ayaw rin nating mangyari satin."

On Tuesday, Azkals made history by advancing into the semifinals of the AFC Challenge Cup through a 2-1 shocker over former 2006 titlist Tajikistan.
